OVERVIEW

As a local government employee, Terry W. Phelps, Jr. hired AVCON for numerous projects since 2010. When he left that role to open Latino Community Credit Union, he brought on AVCON in 2024 to assist with the new venture because of his strong relationship with Frank.

PROJECT DETAILS

With AVCON’s help, Phelps aspired to establish Latino Community Credit Union with more independence and a strong ability to communicate with internal and external partners. He took a bold step forward to implement new facilities and move headquarters to RTP.

AVCON installed audio-visual and Teams conferencing technologies. The solutions were built around Polycom and Barco products, and the Teams conferencing was a bring-your-own-device (BYOD) web conferencing setup.

RESULTS

The credit union has had its grand opening and is operating well in its space. Phelps continues to rely on AVCON to be a partner he can trust to deliver results for each and every project.
